The roots of the Glass Divider operation are in the glass industry.  Glass Divider's parent company, eShowerdoor, has been manufacturing quality Euro Frameless shower doors for more than thirty years. Glass Divider was formed to use our unique knowledge of working with heavy glass to build beautiful all glass sneeze guards and partitions like none other in the industry.   It is our goal to provide the highest quality products with superior service.

The sneeze guard industry is filled with manufactures which have their roots in metal fabrication.  In most of these cases the sneeze guard is a way to sell their metal fabrication.  At Glass Divider the sneeze guard is the primary product.   Our sneeze guards use minimal amount hardware. The all glass supports eliminates  visual barriers found on other manufacture’s sneeze guard. We have engineered our C140 and C152 full-service models to have a maximum bay size twice what is typical in the industry.  Our C128 Self Serve sneeze guard and our C228 Self Serve Island sneeze guard can have up to 84" between support.  In many applications this makes it possible to have one bay sneeze guard instead of having it chopped up the serving area into small segments.

Glass Divider uses the best quality materials in building its sneeze guards.  Our hardware is solid brass, and all of the supports are made from ½” Crystal Clear tempered glass.  This is a special type of glass which has a low lead content to give the sneeze guard that extra sparkle.  In the picture to the right you can see how much clearer the Crystal Clear glass is compared to regular clear glass. All of the glass used in our sneeze guards is safety tempered for strength.  This means the glass has gone through a tempering processing to make it about eight times stronger than regular glass.  A Canadian company originally developed the tempering process. The glass is heated up to about 1200°, almost melting, and then it is quenched with cool air on all sides.  The outside surface cools first and sets,  the inside is still molten and cools more slowly. As it cools it shrinks which builds up tension between the layers making the glass stronger.
