Vertical Shields |
The C148 has a 12" front shield which is perpendicular to the counter surface, and a 45 angled shield for customer viewing. These give overall unit heights of 22" . The lower front shield is 1/4" clear safety glass. There is a 1" air gap under the front shield for ease of cleaning and air circulation. The angled shield is 1/4" safety glass for units 42" or less, and is 3/8" for units wider than 42" up to 60" wide. |

Top Shelf |
The C148 has two top shelf depth option. The standard top shelf is 8", but can extended to 12" if extended supports are used. Both depths are NSF approved. The top shelf is 1/4" clear safety glass, and can be upgraded to 3/8" Crystal Clear safety glass. |

Huge Bay Size |
The C148 can have a bay size up to 84" wide. On the larger bay sizes thicker top shelf glass and an internal glass truss is used. There is no limit to how many bays can be connected together. |

Smooth Surfaces |
Multi-bay units are joined so that there is a smooth top shelf and front shield. No limitation on where plates can be placed due to post bump. |

Standard vs. Custom |
Standard units ship within 48 hours, where custom size units require 7 days to ship. We stock the glass for bay sizes 24" to 84" in 6" steps. That is 24", 30", 36". . . . 60" are stock sizes. It not only takes longer for a custom size we also charge a 20% premium. At this time we do not stock shelves for the standard size units. This means any unit which require a shelf will take 7 days to ship. The customer can have the shelf shipped separately at an additional expense. |

Removable Shelf |
When the correct end supports are used the C148 can accommodate a 11", 17", or 21" mid shelf. On small units (42"or less) the shelf is made from 1/4" clear safety glass, and can be upgraded to 3/8" crystal clear safety glass. On self units greater than 42" up to a maxim length of 60" the shelf is made from 3/8" crystal clear safety glass. |

Supports |
The C148 has four support options made from Clear or Crystal Clear Safety Tempered glass. The Open support use a 2"x 3" attachment footprint, which is at the front edge of the sneeze guard. The Closed and Sculptured supports cannot support a mid-shelf, and will only support a 12" top-self. The end is the most popular end and will satisfy most health departments, but it is not a NSF certified unit if it is the end support. The Deep and Extended supports are NSF approved for use as the end support. The Deep and Extended supports also allow the deeper top and mid shelves. |

C148A Curved |
The C148A is identical to the C148 except it had specialized hardware which allows the front shield to be at an angle other than 180° to each other . This allows both inside and outside curved units. These units require custom tempered glass and generally require 2-3 weeks for manufacturing. |

Shipping |
We ship using UPS Freight, and UPS Parcel. Our shipping volume gives us a 85% discount with UPS Freight. Shipments to the West Coast typically have a ship time of 1 day, while the East Coast takes 3-4 days. |

Assembly |
We build every sneeze guard at the factory, photograph the unit, and then knock it down for shipping. These units are easy assembled using a Phillips screw driver. Move it into place and screw it down. |
